Turning On - The slide Switch at the bottom of the lightsaber should be towards the red dot (if the blade doesn't ignite try switching it on and off again a few times or charging the battery). If the slide switch is in the on position and the battery is charged, pressing the push button will ignite the blade.
Flashing - When the sword is ignited, press the push button on the handle and the blade should sparkle white.
Changing colour - When the sword is ignited, click and hold the push button for a few seconds before releasing it, the blade should change between, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple & rainbow.
Turning off - When the sword is ignited, double press the push button to extinguish the blade, pressing the button once will reignite the blade.
Storing the sword - If the slide switch is in the on position the battery will be drained even when the lights are not on. To ensure the battery lasts, slide the switch into the off position to disconnect the battery.
Make sure the slide switch is on, the blade is extinguished and the USB is plugged in - the red light will be on when it's charging and turn blue when it's charged.
Leaving the slide switch on will drain the battery even when the sword lights are off!
Detailed instructions:
The battery is disconnected when the slide switch is in the off position
2. Slide the switch, so the sword turns on (the battery is now connected)
If it doesn't turn on try turning the switch off and on again - if it doesn't turn on the battery may be completely drained (keep following the instructions.)
3. Plug in the USB C Charge cable - (If the batttery was completely drained the blade should ignite now)
You should see a red light indicating that the battery is charging.
4. To allow the battery to charge faster we want to extingish the blade
5. Double press the push button to extinguish the blade.
6. The light will turn blue when the battery is charged.
If the light turns blue as soon as the USB is plugged in the battery is either fully charged or (more likely) the slide switch is in the wrong position (see above picture).
